Hi, I’m Rohan Kapoor from Mumbai.
I’ve been playing Spribe’s Aviator since 2018. Like many of you, I’ve had sessions where I lost a big part of my bankroll in under an hour. I know exactly how that feels — the frustration, the urge to put more in to get it back, the feeling that the next round will fix everything.
It usually does not.
This guide is my honest answer to the question I get most often: “How do I recover after a big Aviator loss?”
There are no tricks here. I’ll show you what actually works — and what makes things significantly worse.
The psychology after a big loss is predictable. Your brain wants to fix the situation immediately. That impulse leads to exactly the wrong decisions:
I have done all of these. They made every loss worse.
The first step in real recovery is accepting that the money from that losing session is gone. Your job now is to protect what remains.
| Loss Amount | Realistic Recovery Time | Starting Bet | Daily Session Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹500–1,000 | 3–5 days | ₹10–15 | 20–30 rounds |
| ₹2,000–5,000 | 1–2 weeks | ₹20–25 | 25–35 rounds |
| ₹5,000–15,000 | 2–4 weeks | ₹25–40 | 30 rounds max |
| ₹15,000+ | 4+ weeks or don’t chase | ₹50 flat | 20 rounds max |
These are realistic ranges, not promises. Some days you will still lose during the recovery period. That is normal. The goal is net positive over the week, not every single session.
Close the app. Do not make one more bet to “test the waters.” The moment you lose big, the session is over.
Take at least 24 hours off. 48 hours is better. Emotional play is the fastest way to turn a bad loss into a catastrophic one.
Before you play again, sit down and be honest with yourself:
If you used money you cannot afford to lose — stop completely and speak to someone you trust. The National Problem Gambling Helpline exists for exactly this situation.
If you have funds you can genuinely afford to risk, continue with the plan below.
Your only goal in the first two days back is to stay in the game without losing more.
You will not win much. That is fine. The goal is to rebuild the habit of disciplined play, not to recover the money quickly.
If days 2–3 were net positive (or close to flat), you can move to slightly larger bets.
Track every session. Not in your head — write it down or use a simple notes app. Date, rounds played, starting balance, ending balance.
Once you have had 3 profitable days in a row and your balance is at least 50% of your pre-loss level, you can return to your normal strategy and bet sizes.
Do not rush this. Returning to normal betting too early is how recoveries fail.
The plan above works on any Indian platform. The mechanics are the same — Provably Fair RNG, same bet limits, same auto cash-out feature.
If you play on Daman, see the Daman Aviator withdrawal guide before your first recovery withdrawal — the KYC process can cause delays if you have not completed it.
For withdrawal questions on 1Win specifically, the Aviator withdrawal proof guide covers the full process.
Losing hurts. I’ve lost amounts that made me embarrassed to look at my phone for days. I’ve also recovered from those losses — not in one magic session, but over weeks of boring, disciplined small-bet play.
The real recovery is not about the money. It is about proving to yourself that you can play with discipline. If you can do that after a big loss, you have actually learned something useful.
If you cannot — if every session feels out of control — please take a real break and talk to someone. That is not weakness. That is the smart move.
